A5E00825001 IGBT drive board
The Siemens A5E00825001 is a complete IGBT drive and power assembly for MICROMASTER 440 and 430 drives in the 90–132 kW range. It combines the IGD1/R3 gate driver board with the FS300R12KE3-S1 IGBT module (300 A / 1200 V) in a single replacement unit, rather than supplying the driver board alone. The assembly mounts directly onto the drive’s aluminium heatsink and restores the inverter power section in one operation.
The assembly is rated at 210 A continuous and 400 V AC / 650 V DC bus. The 210 A rating represents a deliberate derating of the 300 A-capable IGBT to stay within the MM440/MM430 thermal envelope while retaining margin for the drive’s 150% overload capability. This is a power-stage component, not a Control Unit or I/O board — its condition directly affects whether the drive can pass its power-stack self-check and enable output.

Important Compatibility Boundary: The A5E00825001 (210 A) and A5E00825002 (260 A) are both IGBT drive assemblies for the MM440/MM430 high-power range, but they are not interchangeable. The power section physically accommodates only one of the two form factors, and the correct assembly is determined by the drive’s order number (MLFB), not by kW rating alone.

The assembly becomes the primary suspect when the drive reports F0022 (Power Stack fault) and simpler external causes have been excluded. F0022 is a hardware-level protection triggered by DC-link overcurrent, IGBT short circuit, chopper short circuit, earth fault, or an incorrectly seated I/O board.
Diagnostic sequence before concluding the assembly is faulty:
If F0022 remains after these steps, the A5E00825001 assembly is the appropriate replacement target. F0022 does not always mean the IGBT assembly is defective — it can also originate from the I/O board, output-side short circuit, or earth fault.
Before ordering, confirm the following:

No. The A5E00825001 is rated 210 A (90–132 kW), while the A5E00825002 is rated 260 A for higher-power models. The power section physically fits only one of the two, and the correct part is determined by the drive’s MLFB.
No. F0022 is a power-stack fault that can be triggered by an incorrectly seated I/O board, an output-side earth fault, or a short circuit in the motor cables. Check these first before replacing the assembly.
It is a complete assembly — the IGD1/R3 gate driver board and the FS300R12KE3-S1 IGBT module are supplied together, not as separate components
